Privacy Notice for Widu Users
Widu seeks to accompany you and encourage you to reduce your environmental impact, but your privacy is also of utmost importance to us. For this reason, we have created this Privacy Notice that will help you understand the general characteristics of the processing of personal data that we will carry out in order to help you reduce your environmental impact.
Data Controller
We inform you that the Responsible for the treatment of your personal data will be The Color Book S.A.P.I. de C.V. (hereinafter, "The Color Book") with address at Jorge Eliot #12-701, Col. Polanco V Sección, Alcaldía Miguel Hidalgo, C.P. 11560, in Mexico City, Mexico.
Personal data we process
In order to help you take conscious actions and reduce your environmental impact, it is necessary that we collect and process the following categories of personal data: (i) identification data; (ii) contact data; (iii) location data; (iv) patrimonial and financial data; (v) information about your consumption habits; (vi) information about your social networks; (vii) your image, and (viii) your location in real time only when the app in use.
We inform you that at no time will we ask you to provide any sensitive personal data. In case we detect that you have provided us with any sensitive personal data through our platform, it will be deleted immediately.
Purposes of data handling
The personal data mentioned in the previous section will be processed by The Color Book to fulfill the following primary purposes: (i) to create an account within our platform and identify you as a Widuer, as well as to accredit and verify your identity; (ii) to learn about your consumption habits in order to calculate your environmental footprint; (iii) to provide you with relevant information about the environment through our platform; (iv) to show you actions you can take to reduce your environmental footprint on a personal and community level; (v) to learn whether you have carried out one or more of the actions we have recommended to reduce your environmental footprint; (vi) to allow you to be eligible for the rewards we offer you for carrying out the actions we recommend to reduce your environmental footprint; (vii) to generate and show you statistics on the benefits of carrying out the actions we recommend at a personal and community level; (viii) to provide you with information on campaigns of organizations that seek to preserve the environment through our platform, as well as to allow you to make contributions to environmental campaigns that these organizations promote or carry out; (ix) to show you the ecological products and/or services that have a lower environmental impact through our platform; (x) to manage the collection of contributions that you make through our platform; (xi) to redirect you to third-party platforms so that you can sign and share petitions related to socio-environmental issues; (xii) to show you various volunteer programs that you can register for and that are managed by organizations concerned with the preservation of the environment; (xiii) to comply with obligations that are applicable to us in terms of the legal relationship with our users, as well as other obligations that are applicable to us in terms of the regulations to which we are subject, and (xiv) to comply with obligations of cooperation of justice and meet requirements of competent authorities in the cases legally foreseen.
Unless you object, The Color Book may also process your personal data to carry out any or all of the following secondary purposes: (i) to send you our newsletter through the means of contact you have provided us, and/or (ii) to send you advertising about ecological products and/or services offered by our business partners through the means of contact you have provided us.

Transfers
The Color Book may transfer your personal data, both to domestic and foreign entities, without requiring your consent to (i) affiliated companies, subsidiaries and/or controlling entities, domestic or foreign, that operate under the same internal policies on personal data protection to fulfill the purposes informed in this Privacy Notice, and/or (ii) to competent authorities in the cases provided by the applicable regulations.
Access, rectification, cancellation and opposition rights
We remind you that, as the owner of the personal data you provide us, you have the possibility to exercise any of the rights of access, rectification, cancellation or opposition ("ARCO Rights"), as well as to revoke your consent for the processing of your personal data.

In order for us to be able to process your request, you or your legal representative must provide proper proof of your identity, so it is necessary that you accompany your request with a copy of a valid official identification.
In the event that the information you provide in your request is incorrect or insufficient, or if the corresponding supporting documents are not provided, our data protection officer, within five (5) business days following receipt of the request, may require you to provide the elements or documents necessary to process the request. You will have ten (10) business days to respond to the request from the day after you receive it. If you do not respond within this period, your request will be deemed not to have been submitted.
Options and means to limit the use or disclosure of your personal information
You may also limit the use or disclosure of your personal data by sending your request to the following e-mail address: hola@widu.app.
The requirements to prove your identity, as well as the procedure to attend your request are the same as established in the previous section.
In case your request is successful, our data protection officer will register you in The Color Book's own exclusion list so that you stop receiving communications for advertising purposes.
Changes to our Privacy Notice
We may make changes, modifications, or additions or deletions to our Privacy Notice at any time. We will keep our Comprehensive Privacy Notice in effect through our platform, so we recommend you periodically visit the "Privacy Notice" section to keep you informed about the changes.
